HISTORY
1939: Erwin Bühler opens his first hairdressing salon on Steinentorstrasse, going on to become known at this
address as the „theatre hairdresser“. Many a prima donna sings a few coloraturas in the „blue salon“, reserved specially for theatre people, while having their hair artistically styled. Relocation to Steinenvorstadt follows in th 1970s.
1979: Anita and Beat Bühler open their first hairdressing salon on Steinenberg opposite the Stadtcasino.
Beat Bühler Hairdesign soon becomes THE place to go for good advice and trendy cut.
1991: Move to Elisabethenstrasse. Here again, lots of artists visit this cosy salon and enjoy its uncomplicated atmosphere.
1998: Eurocoiffure Bühler wins the CAS Hairvision Show in Basel
2000: Opening of Stift & Co. on Steinenvorstadt
Here, apprentices have the opportunity to run their own hairdressing salon,
and we received 2005 the prix schappo from the City of Basel for this project.
We continue to supervise the project until 2010, when it is concluded.
2010: Beat Bühler opens a wig house (das Perückenhaus) on Güterstrasse in Basel,
handing over EUROCOIFFURE to his daughter Catherine.
She is proud to be running a well-established and motivated team, and continuing the tradition of the hairdressing Bühler family in the third generation.
